I think the mistake that everyone is making is thinking anything they're doing is "Korean". It's pop culture. For decades in Korea and other countries it was imitation. I think in a lot of ways they've made the leap from imitation to competition and sometimes even superiority on that front.
They've out-America'd America, if you will.
We're not seeing anything that is legitimately "Korean" when we see their Anime or their soap operas anymore than I'd take credit for something like American Housewives or that Tiger dude show that everyone couldn't stop talking about a few years back.

As much as I hate comic book crap in general, Nicholas Cage as Spider-Man in Spider-Noir is giving me just a slight chubby.
I won't get my hopes up, but wouldn't it be great if that turned out to be great?
The only other possibly worthwhile watch on that list would be Neuromancer. That certainly could be worth a watch if the show isn't run by a DEI department, directed by a no-name minority female who only has 1 indie movie nobody saw on her resume, isn't a pandering mess of a slop crap show like nearly everything else they've put out for the last decade, etc.
All 7 other shows on that list are pure crap.
By all means come back and fact check me with the viewership numbers when they come out. Show me those verified audience scores. I think you can already look up at least 1 or 2 from that list because they've already started being released.
*NOTE: I will give possible allowances for a Passing Grade on Viewership for both Blade Runner and whatever that dumb The Boys spinoff I already forgot the name of was, just because of the existing fan-bases that haven't been completely destroyed yet... Those might end up doing alright, though I wouldn't expect anybody to love them or a ton of non-manufactured excitement about either of them.
I, personally, loved the first season of The Boys and dug the 2nd season too. Wasn't impressed with the 3rd season and never bothered tuning in after that finale. Though I've been told it's not as bad as I would think, I would never watch the Generation V spinoff, and would never in a million years watch a 2nd or 3rd spinoff.
But I do know people personally who are still willing to give that show a chance, so maybe it does at least enough to make its money back and keep interest up in the main show in between seasons and at least serves a purpose.
But anyway...
That's your "Best" list for the year?
Y'all better brace for some more downsizing and or company mergering in late 2026 and going forward.
