One educator and five students were found dead at the school, most of them in the library. The students were between 12 and 13 years old.
Police did not say how Van Rootselaar might have obtained two firearms recovered in the school and could not speak to a motive for the shooting, which has devastated the small community of 2,400.
Leaders across the nation and around the world, including King Charles, offered condolences to those grieving what is one of the worst school shootings in Canadian history.

Just so we're Crystal Clear...
THIS is the one singular issue that will have brought down the Democratic Party in the end, and the one that will be most talked about in the history books as the final nail in the coffin for the party.
Don't get me wrong... There are a LOT of reasons why the Democratic Party is about to die, but THIS was the issue most symbolic of the insanity that the Democratic Party embraced.
All the school and church shootings are carried out by kids and adults that you brainfucked into thinking that cutting off their dicks and tits was going to solve all of their various mental problems, when all it did was exacerbate them and drive them all over the edge. Angry white Lesbians all up on Tik Tok and Twitter threatening others with their shiny brand new guns they bought after being the people who were screaming the loudest for gun control up until 5 minutes ago show that you don't even have to have your dick or tits cut off to go crazy. But imagine already being that fucking nuts and then doing permanent and irreversible damage to your body in the Name of your God Science on top of it.
... or even worse...
Imagine being a child who had no cognitive ability to make any of those decisions for yourself and having insane parents who cared so little about you that they pushed you into it and paraded you around for their own gross little egos online. Women who should have had purse dogs instead of children, and their cucked "men", assuming Dad was even in the picture anymore.
Now everyone gets to see who the real fascists and terrorists are. Who the people that should never be allowed anywhere near a firearm, let alone within 250 feet of a school really and truly are, and always were.
It's not the law-abiding citizens who have managed to spend decades and entire lifetimes exercising their right to bare arms without causing anyone any problems.
It's YOU.
It has always been you.
You never feared us, or what we would do with those guns. Quite the contrary. You envied us. You would have loved to feel that power in your own hands and hated the fact that going against that and arming yourself would be grounds for being kicked out of your cult were any of your friends or family to find out. You feared the darkness in your own hateful hearts, your own lack of impulse control, and what you knew you would do with those guns if you ever gave into your twisted temptation and bought one yourself. Knowing that it would bring you one step closer to being able to literally execute the darkest dreams brought about by your decaying, black hearts if you had easy access to a gun.
And the fact that you've all gone fucking nuts doesn't exhibit a sense of strength and unity.
It shows how fractured and terrified you are, and exhibits all the behaviors of a rat trapped in a corner. Soldiers who no longer have any leadership; Disciples who no longer have a God.
So do it. Bring those shiny new guns out of your houses and out into the streets. Make that final graduation you've spent your entire lives preparing for, from berating and harassing people who dare wear a red hat or shirt out in public with your cell phone cameras and threats to have people fired and just start shooting at them. See what happens. Not only to you... but the public perception of a party that has never in history sunk this deep into the toilet as it finds itself today...
... fire those guns proudly as you rush in screaming "I can't breathe" into the void of nothingness we've left behind for you, when we all finally turned our collective backs on you for good, never to listen to any one of you again.
Make that final escalation and bring us to the inevitable conclusion.
This is the end of the Democratic Party.
And standing on THIS particular hill for so long is the future legacy of your downfall.
It is appropriate that it will be the hill you all finally die on.
