Sorry SIX. My bad. Should have been more specific. It will be all over the news from Seattle. I doubt I will get any news tomorrow night on their program. And yes the parade will be covered up here on the news hours sports but thank goodness I can turn the tv over to watch M*A*S*H before then.

Well, last year was the worst Halftime show in SB history, with mumble rap. It was hard to imagine it could have gotten even worse.
But they succeeded in that.
Seems like maybe the advertisers have caught on, I heard the quality of ads had a severe drop. Good job, NFL.
A Masterclass in how to take a wildly successful and popular business model and flush it.
They have been either vague, or hiding the data. How many viewers saw the game, like first half, and how many saw the halftime? And how does that compare to 2 years ago, or more?

No worries, Brenda. I just thought maybe the team was close enough to you or parts of your country where they actually did have celebrations and parades through a sense of camradere by location, even if they weren't from the same country.
I know we do that here in states. Where I live, Indiana is a pretty good example. I'd be willing to bet that even though our state has it's own basketball team, a good majority of people in NWI by Chicago are Bulls fans over Pacers fans. There's probably some back and forth from year to year depending on which team is better that year because it's always more fun to cheer on the winner, but even then I think there would be some interstate rivalry during games at the bars up here.
I know you love MASH, but you really should get yourself an Amazon FireStick. They have to have them in a store new if not used around you somewhere.
Once you set them up, they're so easy to use and they would open you up to so much more TV. My aunt was in heaven with it when I got her all set up with free and totally legal apps on it like Pluto TV and Tubi and a few others. I can't stand any of it because of the commercials, but she's never stopped watching them either so it doesn't bother her none. Even though the commercials remain, she basically gets Basic Cable Plus without even having to pay for any of it beyond the internet connection she is paying for.
And a lot of times they have free movies and TV shows that you can stream at any time and pick up later if you get interrupted, but the only catch is you have to watch ads with them too.
She loves a bunch of American old shows, and she can usually find most of them. I would imagine there's a good chance that they've got most of the canadian shows available on similar setups where you are.

Seattle is quite close to the border. Probably not even an hour's drive Bellingham which is right across the border. Vancouver and Seattle do have a little rivalry. Hockey though. The Seattle Kraken versus the Vancouver Canucks always brings people together to watch.
Think I mentioned a watch party up in Kelowna. That's in the Interior and I am sure there were watch parties in Vancouver. I am also fairly sure that good number of people went down to watch in person. Waste of time in my book but then hey, I hate parades anyways. I find them totally boring.
Don't know about TUBI but I can Pluto tv up here and have thought about using it. Just haven't done it yet. And I think you have mentioned those Firesticks before. I would have to look around for them.
Oh, I'm sure I could find a lot of Canadian shows as well for those Sticks.

Time to fire Jay-Z. You're out.
On Sunday, February 8, Kid Rock headlined Turning Point USA's All-American Super Bowl Halftime Show — a MAGA alternative to the actual 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show, which featured Puerto Rican reggaetón star Bad Bunny. MAGA Republicans were furious because Bunny, an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump's immigration policies, performed en español at the event.
But Bunny attracted a lot more viewers: CBS News reported that 135 million people watched Bad Bunny, while the El Paso Times reported that that 6.1 million people watched Turning Point's event.
In other words, Bad Bunny attracted roughly 22 times as many viewers.
In a biting article published on February 9, Salon's Amanda Marcotte describes Kid Rock's Turning Point USA show as a sad example of MAGA's "bid for cultural relevance."
"Perhaps it's a sign that I am an empathy-poisoned liberal," Marcotte argues, "but it was hard to choke back the pity watching the alternative halftime show aired by Turning Point USA during Sunday's Super Bowl game. Despite having months to book and organize an event that was supposed to draw millions away from the real deal, TPUSA couldn't even pack the small space for audience members on the soundstage — not a stadium, arena, theater or even a club — they rented for the occasion. The promise of seeing the washed-up Kid Rock in an intimate setting appears to thrill no one."

What's funny or sad about it?
I thought it was pretty funny watching that entire stadium look bored, with some of them falling asleep and seeing all the videos of the cute white girls dancing in the stands while holding up their cell phones with the Kid Rock concert blaring.
You don't have any cute girls on your side there, do ya Ted?

Yeah. My old man told me about that.
Fucking gross.
Fuck California.
They're only going to have under 40 electoral college votes by 2028.
