Trump is using immigrants ... illegal and otherwise ... to distract from his failed policies and improve his polling numbers, since immigration was his first victory.
I think the word is scapegoating.
Yes, we have millions of immigrants in the USA, many are hostile to us, many engage in drug trafficking and intimidation, some are battle trained and battle hardened. Going over our immigrant population with a fine toothed comb and removing those who don't belong is a GREAT idea.
But. Are "they" the source of ALL our ills? Did "they" cause outsourcing and deindustrialization? Did they cause rampant real estate speculation, driving prices up above affordability? Are they the ONLY cause of government overspending?
Trump can put on a good show and create a lot of drama, and maybe the drama will get the GOP past the midterms, but if people's lives don't materially improve by next Presidential, the GOP is toast.

This is a real thing posted by the president of the United-States and all jokes aside, I am deeply concerned for so many reasons. It's no longer "trolling", it's unhinged and frankly, illegal.
