I was always impressed with her work, although I didn't catch most of it in real time. Mostly on reruns.

Damn... Didn't know Michelle had died.
Died of diabetes too... so they say.
I find that one kind of hard to believe. It may have been what ultimately killed her, but unless she was off her rocker for a prolonged period of time with drink and drugs and/or in a depression so deep she wasn't even bothering to monitor herself or take the time to install her CGM and insulin pods, I think you'd really have to work hard at killing yourself at that age by Diabetes after you've been diagnosed. Before I was diagnosed, I had been losing weight for nearly 3 months despite what I ate, and I was pissing out so much sugar that the bubbles in the toilet wouldn't pop, and my body had starting eating my muscles. The second I got put on the right meds all of that stopped immediately.
She had a liver transplant at some point recently. Even with my insane amounts of drinking before I got sober, as far as I know I don't have any liver issues from it. Maybe she had Type 1 from an early age and mixing pills and drink with that over the years trashed her liver because she was always immunocompromised.

She didn't make her health issues highly public, but she had suffered several ailments IIRC. Sometimes gobs of cash and celebrity isn't enough to ward off The Reaper. She apparently fought for a while. I had hoped it wasn't because of taking the wrong medical advice. If diabetes was the biggest problem, then she surely got screwed over by her docs.
