Yeah. It's causing a serious problem for Pfizer's bottom line.

While I appreciate that a good majority of Americans are finally saying enough is enough and refusing the booster shot, it's too late for them. They've already poisoned themselves.

Imagine how we got to a point where a tyrannical government needs to threaten the lives of people to take a shot they don't need for a virus that you have to go and get tested to find out if you even have.

Fucking clown world.

Maybe you idiots who survive this will stop believing everything that they tell you and stop doing everything they tell you to do.

The Newsweek article is an interesting one in the appearance of respectability and impartiality. For one thing, it actually quotes full sentences - sometimes even two! and names the names associated with the quotes.

But as always, I try to look for complete information.

None of the quotes came up on a search except for Newsweek as a source. So if they were full statements, or carefully selected snippets, it's hard to say.

2 of the three doctors quoted didn't have an internet presence to speak of. I only found Jake Scott. Here's a tweet from him:

I find these specifics convincing. Roughly 2/3 of his patients are hospitalized specifically for COVID-19. Of those COVID-19 patients, he has no fully vaccinated hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Lack of vaccination is associated with more illness in younger people in roughly 3 in 5 of his COVID-19 patients; and partial vaccination is associated with more illness in older people with concurrent breathing problems roughly 2 in 5 of his COVID-19 patients.

Given those numbers, it looks like no/ incomplete vaccination is associated with hospitalization in both young and old.

But to be complete, he'd have to provide figures on his 'incidental' COVID-19 positive patients. If they were mostly unvaccinated, I'd think that maybe the vaccine was less important against Omicron, because 1/3 of his COVID-19 positive patients are in the hospital for something else entirely. If they were mostly vaccinated, it bolsters the idea that vaccinations are protective against severe illness.

OTOH his experience, as compelling as it he thinks it is, might be an anomaly. That's why it's important to look at ALL the data.

And here, Newsweek, as a 'news' source, fails completely. So, shame on Newsweek. I shouldn't have to dig for complete data to make sense out of their article. Going to 91-DIVOC, it's still true that despite soaring cases, deaths are steady. https://91-divoc.com/pages/covid-visualization/

However, I do take the point that skyrocketing 'cases' do lead to increased hospitalizations, which then put a strain on medical resources.

At this point I feel like everybody has been manipulated by social media influencers all over the spectrum that not a single one of them is below putting on oxygen tubes and telling his audience they're sick while graciously accepting all those very generous donations along with all the get well wishes.

I want to make it very clear that I'm not accusing Scott Addams of doing this, or even stating I have any reason to believe that he is doing so let alone make an accusation like that.

Things in that space have really changed. It was different when content creators weren't being tossed off the platforms for this and that, and they were just getting straight up cuts of the ad revenue directly from the platform.

Now most of them need to whore themselves out for whoever is throwing them money for a 2 minute lying ad read where they tell you how much they love the product and use it every day themselves. I mean, sure... some of them could actually be, but you've already ruined that underlying trust with the audience, if even only on a subconscious level, because you were part of a large group of influencers who were among those advertising an outed scam or even a downright harmful good or service to people.

Without even going into the young adults that were actually gambling and outright promoting gambling on live streams that kids were watching on horribly toxic places like Twitch and TikTok and Kick, you're advertising video games that promote and SIMULATE the gambling experience for kids to get them hooked on the feeling. Meanwhile, the very same companies getting the kids hooked on fake gambling are also responsible for running casinos and bookie sports apps, and in most cases are even the makers of the slot machines that grandma and grandpa feed their social security checks into at their local gambling boat.

You're advertising mental health service organizations as something you know deeply about and trust, and then it turns out that nobody actually talking to people on the other end had any of the credentials or licenses necessary to be giving that kind of advice, and it lead to several deaths and other horrible, yet entirely predictable outcomes if you had bothered to do the bare minimum vetting who's money you chose to accept before making a deal with the devils.

You're advertising smoking/vaping alternative products and telling your viewers that they're just breathing in air for the last several years and there are now studies coming out saying that everybody has been huffing essential oil into their lungs for the last several years, while the people you got paid to introduce to the product have gone on for years paying for their recharges on their new monthly addiction through your monthly subscription models. Monthly subscription models... On what was advertised, by you, as a trusted product that was designed to only be a temporary crutch to get them off their previous addiction.

And even, on a much lighter note, advertising scam property titles for micro-fractions of land plots in other countries, claiming that your viewers will be able to have their names changed even legally on their credit cards to ridiculous things like "Sir 6ixStringJack of Endinburgh", if you only send this scam artist $39.95 plus shipping. While proudly showing your title framed on the wall beside you, you say....You can even pay the low price of $99.99 and have it in this beautiful frame too. FREE SHIPPING!!!!
