Nobody can be sure what happened behind those closed doors, but I think Trump handled that beautifully.

I was laughing my ass off when the reporters kept trying to put wedges between them because of things they'd said about each other leading up to yesterday.
The funniest part was when they quoted Zamdani calling Trump a Tyrant and asked him if he still thinks that Trump is a Tyrant. Zamdani was ready to give what I could assume was a pretty longwinded statement trying to downplay the rhetoric and Trump just said something along the lines of "It's okay. Just tell them yes. It's easier that way."
I was rolling.
Long story short, Trump just gave him plenty of noose to hang himself with. We know how bad he's going to be for NYC. Trump knows how bad he's going to be for NYC. Now the city can fall because of him and it doesn't land on Trump.
P.S. That remark about "even some Republicans are going to be surprised" makes me wonder if Trump was working with him all along too. There is the possibility that the dude isn't a Democrat or a Socialist and this was all another Trump rug pull.
Give the idiots in NYC a brown person who claims he's a socialist and hates Donald Trump, without letting anybody know he was a Trump guy all along and watch as the idiot Democrat voters in NYC elect an unknown Republican for mayor because he checked off a lot of Leftist retard boxes.

Mitch McConnell devised the playbook against the Obama presidency; with a Democrat in the White House, the GOP’s sole legislative agenda is obstruction, to make certain that no legislation passes, that no appointments are confirmed, to the extent of often enough forcing government shutdowns. Corporate media, punditry, and academics have obscured this Republican strategy with names implying a tit-for-tat perspective, like “partisan gridlock,” which, they lament, is causing Americans to lose patience with and trust in government.
