Trump says Democrats must become 'less deranged' to end shutdown

President Trump said Monday afternoon that the partial government shutdown that began Oct. 1 will end when Senate Democrats become "less deranged" — something he predicted could happen "pretty soon."
"They have what's called a Trump derangement problem. Have you heard about that problem? Because that's the only reason this could be possible. But I think we're doing very well," Trump said at an East Room celebration hosting two Louisiana college baseball teams.
"I think they're going to have no going to have no choice but to go along, because the country is setting records in every way, and people want it to continue that way. So we're hoping the Democrats become much less deranged, and that we will get the vote pretty soon. And I hear they're starting to feel that way too," he added.
"They're starting to feel like they really have to do what's right for the country, and they will."

It does make sense, but I had not realized that this is the only Shutdown in history created to block a Clean Continuing Resolution.
All others before were because Libtard Dems demanded to pile on excess waste Pork spending, Debt.

Republicans passed a Clean Continuing Resolution in The House, mid-September.
But Libtards, Socialists, Communists in The Senate have demanded extra $1.7 Trillion Pork spending COVID subsidies for epic failure imploding Obamacare, to funnel money to Insurance companies - as well as cash directly to Illegal Alien Invaders.
5 of the Libtards finally toned down their tantrum and voted to stop the filibuster - but they needed to wait until late on a Sunday night. Libtard Senators are normally allergic to Sundays. Conservatives called the Libtard bluff.
Some key factors:
Airline flights became disrupted from understaffing Air Traffic Controllers due to them not getting paid. Flights don't greatly affect Red State flyover country, and most cancellations are centered around Deep Blue airspace, so Democraps were mostly inflicting pain upon their own Libtard sycophants. And flights around DC started getting cancelled.

Late past week, Conservatives started openly advocating for the Nuclear Option - ending filibuster - after which they would

Prior to Schumer Shutdown FAA was losing 3 ATCs per day to retirement. Now, it is 15-20 retirements per day. This might take a long time to recover from.
Conservative losses:
Deal reverses Federal Layoffs during Shutdown. This means that the more layoffs Trump did, the more leverage he had, the more he had to trade away, a win-win for him.

So, seems the secret to end Shumer Shutdown was:
1. discuss ending filibuster, at least in it's current form.
2. delay/end SNAP.
3. delay, cancel, reduce flights.
1. us not a great option.
2. cannot be done in January, it is now funded until Sept 30.
3. Flight restrictions, delay seems to most effect Libtards and DC denizens. If Shutdown happens in Jan/Feb, no need to wait 6 weeks to restrict flight support.
If we get to Jan without renewing COVID subsidies paid to Insurance companies, then that legislation will expire, and all of those laws will need to be drafted from scratch.
