I love how these articles always talk about the election rigging claims as being debunked in a way where it's just an accepted truth like the earth being round or the sky being blue.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation cleared Andrews of wrongdoing, and found he was legally dropping off ballots for members of his family. Andrews filed a defamation lawsuit against Salem, as well as the team behind the movie: right wing commentator Dinesh D’Souza, and the group True the Vote.
Though “2,000 Mules” has been widely debunked by law enforcement officials and the media, including NPR, the film and book developed a widespread following among supporters of the false claim that the 2020 election was stolen.

Leading Election Denier Finally Says the Quiet Part Out Loud
Dinesh D’Souza has admitted that “2,000 Mules” is based on junk information.

fraud-made-up
Dinesh D’Souza, the conservative filmmaker behind the election denialist fable 2,000 Mules, revealed that the data that underpinned his supposedly incontrovertible claims of fraudulent voting was actually a complete sham.
In the 2022 film, a Texas-based “election integrity” organization called True the Vote claimed to have reviewed cell phone geotracking data from five 2020 battleground states that traced the movements of ballot “mules” who had been paid by liberal nonprofits to stuff ballot boxes. D’Souza’s film purported that hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots had been cast, tipping the scales for Joe Biden. The movie has been widely debunked by pretty much everyone, now including its own filmmaker.
A statement from D’Souza, quietly posted to D’Souza Media’s website early Monday, revealed that the geolocation data that he called “the premise of the film” wasn’t actually real.
“During the production of this film, as a supplement to the geolocation data, True the Vote provided my team with ballot drop box surveillance footage that had been obtained through open records requests. We were assured that the surveillance videos had been linked to geolocation cell phone data, such that each video depicted an individual who had made at least 10 visits to drop boxes. Indeed, it is clear from the interviews within the film itself that True the Vote was correlating the videos to geolocation data,” D’Souza wrote.
“We recently learned that surveillance videos used in the film may not have actually been correlated with the geolocation data,” the statement read.
D’Souza downplayed this particular revelation’s impact on the integrity of True the Vote, and the film altogether.
“We operated in good faith and in reliance on True the Vote. We continue to have confidence in their work and also in the basic message of ‘2000 Mules,’” he wrote, adding that he would “continue to have faith” in the “underlying geolocation data and analysis.”
It seems the statement’s main purpose was to apologize to one individual: Mark Andrews, a Georgia voter who sued D’Souza after he was falsely depicted as one of the “mules.”
“I now understand that the surveillance videos used in the film were characterized on the basis of inaccurate information provided to me and my team. If I had known then that the videos were not linked to geolocation data, I would have clarified this and produced and edited the film differently,” D’Souza said.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation determined in 2022 that Andrews had been dropping off ballots for members of his own family, and Andrews filed a defamation lawsuit against D’Souza, True the Vote, and the movie’s publisher, Salem Media Group Inc. The publisher issued an apology to Andrews and ultimately retracted the movie from its platforms.
“Again, I apologize to Mr. Andrews. I make this apology not under the terms of a settlement agreement or other duress, but because it is the right thing to do, given what we have now learned,” D’Souza wrote. “While I do not believe Mr. Andrews was ever identified by the film or book, I am sorry for any harm he believes he and his family has suffered as a result

Trump pardons conservative writer Dinesh D'Souza | 31 May 2018
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44319709
President Donald Trump has issued a pardon to conservative writer Dinesh D'Souza, who was convicted in 2014 of violating campaign finance laws.
D'Souza, 57, was found guilty of an illegal $20,000 (£15,000) campaign contribution to a New York politician.
He was sentenced to five years of probation after admitting the crime.
Mr Trump also said he might pardon lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and commute former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich's sentence.
The US president tweeted on Thursday that D'Souza "was treated very unfairly by our government".
"Mr D'Souza accepted responsibility for his actions, and also completed community service by teaching English to citizens and immigrants seeking citizenship," said a White House statement from spokeswoman Sarah Sanders on Thursday.
"In light of these facts, the President has determined that Mr D'Souza is fully worthy of this pardon."
As he signed the order, Mr Trump told reporters that he spoke to D'Souza by phone last night, adding that "he almost had a heart attack" when the president told him of his decision.
D'Souza was charged by the same Manhattan prosecutor's office that is now investigating Michael Cohen, Mr Trump's longtime personal lawyer.
This is Mr Trump's fifth full pardon. Among his previous pardons are Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio - who is now running for the Senate - and former Bush White House aide Scooter Libby.
He later told reporters that he was considering pardoning lifestyle guru Martha Stewart and commuting former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich's sentence.
Who is Dinesh D'Souza?
D'Souza was prosecuted by then-US Attorney Preet Bharara, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama before he was fired by Mr Trump in 2017.
The conservative filmmaker regularly assailed Mr Obama on social media.
While Mr Obama was in office, he accused him in a Forbes magazine cover story of adopting "the cause of anti-colonialism" from his Kenyan father.
In his 2016 film Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party - which became one of the highest-grossing documentaries of the year - he accused Mrs Clinton of having "orchestrated" her husband's sex scandals.
More recently he made headlines when he taunted survivors of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting after lawmakers in their state refused to consider banning assault-style weapons.
"Worst news since their parents told them to get summer jobs," D'Souza tweeted. He later apologised.
During the 2016 presidential election, D'Souza tweeted that he relished "the frustration" of the Republican party over Mr Trump's wins.
Who else might Trump pardon?
Martha Stewart - The celebrity chef and lifestyle guru was convicted in 2004 of charges of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and making false statements relating to a probe of insider stock market trading. She was prosecuted by former FBI director James Comey and served five months in federal prison.
Rod Blagojevich - The former Democratic governor of Illinois was convicted of multiple counts of bribery and corruption in 2011, and sentenced to 11 years in prison. He had been accused of trying to sell the Senate seat that was vacated by Barack Obama. Both he and Stewart appeared on spin-off versions of Mr Trump's reality TV show

a wacko flavor of Christian Born in Mumbai, India philosophy?
Should the US have allied with Hitler against Stalin in World War 2?
No. Both were murderous autocrats, but Stalin was a threat to his own people.
Hitler invaded Poland and France and sought global domination through his Third Reich.
Hitler was by far the greater threat.

They stole my best job. More accurately, they stole my salary and then paid 6 people in India to work full time with it.
We've always had a lopsided arrangement with India, where India always benefits from it.
As for this article, how does anybody know somebody who voted for Trump even made that reply. They don't. That could have been Ted or Second who said that and they wouldn't know.
After that, the article devolves into other anecdotal drivel with zero evidence to back any of it up.
This is just the Indian Times trying to pour gas on a fire because we're done giving them the world for free.
