Signym, the way you post does not work for me. I will not respond to your posts in their entirety because of the way you structure the post. I am tired of you selecting sentences that you can pick apart because the sentence lacks the other posters full perspective.
In simpler terms you can understand. The first sentence is supported by, and made whole, by the second sentence. Therefore, you omit the second sentence.
Without the entire perspective of what was posted, you can manipulate the other person's post. It’s why you like zerohedge. Amongst other things they do the same.
You also insist on quoting statements in your posts that no one can tell who you are quoting. It just says quote without telling anyone who. I believe you wish to give the illusion that you are quoting the poster you are currently posting to, which may be incorrect; a lie. And, or what you are doing is responding to a quote you made up. You have been caught many times over the years suggesting you were quoting something from a source you'd posted and then lying about what the source had said.
Your posts in many cases are just a place for you to hide. You often structure your posts to give the appearance of a correct assessment of the facts that is, nonetheless, erroneous.
I’ve said it before and will again. They are too often just long diatribes against and misrepresenting the facts; and boring.

Because, in simple terms that you can understand, if the premise ... the point that your post rests on ... is wrong, your whole post is wrong. Example: If I start out by posting "Since the earth is flat ..." there's no point to you arguing anything beyond that. But I will endeavor to address the entirety of each of your points if I feel it's warranted

I like to flatten conversations so that it looks like a script. If I'm quoting you, for example, I begin the quote with this

I have no idea what you're saying. If I'm grabbing a quote from some other source, I provide a link immediately following. I try to be exceptionally clear where I get my info from.

THGR, let's recap your "Trump is destroying everything" argument.
First of all, on its face it's wrong. You admit it's an exaggeration.
So, tariffs was the first topic.
You said tariffs were going to raise prices and destroy businesses.
Looking at official inflation stats and business bankruptcy rates, neither appears to be true AT THE MOMENT. Given time, price increases will probably occur bc that's th point of tariffs.
BTW, you would have had a stronger argument that punitive tariffs are accelerating de-dollarization, since stats show that that IS occurring. But unless you want to argue that, let's agree to set aside the issue of tariffs for now until you have a better argument.
