I saw Weapons a few weeks ago. Guess I didn't post review. No coda. I wasn't sure about seeing it, so read a review, which was more like a discussion. L:likely a mistake.
I felt it had pacing, or story progression, like clickbait. Read for 10 seconds, then click and wit 2 minutes for the next page of a sentence to load, repeat. It's probably made for today's ADHD kids.

The Road Between Us is scheduled for release next week, 10 Sept.

I hope I can see it. And I've been telling my friends.

Unfortunately, that Sept 10 date was the scheduled date for the showing at TIFF.

Wide release looks to start in Canada on 3 October.

Otherwise, Dead of Winter looks interesting.

If it were that fucking simple, idiot, people wouldn't be investing all this money into making movies at all because the market would be completely dead and nobody will put up any money if there were a 0% chance of making any money back with a 100% chance they're going to lose all their money.

American households are spending thousands per year for streaming movies and for cable TV, and NOT buying movie theater tickets. Too bad that 6ixStringJack can't understand the simplicity of how Hollywood can afford to produce hundreds of movies despite reduced ticket sales. Streaming and cable are where Hollywood makes most of its money, not in theaters.

Americans are spending on average almost $1,000 per year on streaming their favorite shows, movies and sporting events, according to a new "Subscription Wars" study by Bango, a provider of software for bundling subscriptions.

Bango recently polled 5,000 U.S. streaming subscribers about their habits and found that, on average, most of us are spending $924 a year, or $77 per month, on streaming services, with about a quarter of us paying $100 per month. One in 20, however, are laying out a whopping $2,400.

Even so, the average amount we spend on streaming is still less than the average spent on cable. A recent Cord Cutters News report puts the average cable bill at more than $200 per month.
