Everybody,
On Monday March 21st, the day after the 2nd London screening of Serenity, the BBC are running a major launch day for a new show.
They've sent me an email asking for "about 10 fans dressed up in their Buffy, Angel or Sci-Fi gear".
The location is "London Launch, at Hanover Sq Gardens W1 off Oxford St". The launch starts at 5.30pm - probably best being there about half an hour earlier.
If you can get your brown coats on, Serenity Tshirts or anything else, you have a very good chance of getting on TV. This is a big launch, going out on BBC One and BBC Three. If somebody can manage to get a short brief about Serenity out, cool it up and mention 'November', it'd be bloody great.
Is anybody willing to go?
If we can get 10 people together, I will let the BBC know, and we can see what can be arranged. They're willing to exchange publicity for bodies.
Cheers

Sorry I can't be there to help, but I've cross posted this to the Universal board, which had a pretty big concentration of UK fans.

Would love to go, I work about 15 minutes away from Hanover Square. Unfortunately, I don't finish work until 5.30 and can't get away any earlier. Shame it isn't a little bit later, I could have gone over there in one of my Firefly tee shirts!

Aaaaargh! That would be amazing! I am a poor student many miles from London so I wouldn't be there in my fabulous fighting elves shirt- noooo!!! (And my amazing firefly boots that I didn't know actually *were* amazing firefly boots until I watched it (I just have impeccable taste.....))
May there be many fans blessing this launch!
