Anyone else get the f***ed-up download of "Serenity"?

Avoiding discussions of legalities please, I need "Serenity" in a good quality electronic format. I downloaded two copies that both had scenes deleted and duplicated. It was a quality rendering, but not worth saving because of the screw-ups.

Does anyone care to share?

I also remember someone here had made DVDs of all the episodes, but I can't find his post. If you remember his email address, (or even better, got copies of his DVDs) could you please let me know? Thanks.

Thanks. I'm going to contact him and get those DVDs. Then I'm going to make everyone I know watch them until they're as hooked as I am. I don't care if the show never come backs, it deserves to be known by as many people as possible.

use winmx, search for the svcd and vcd versions. they are the aired versions. the versions that u got were the unreleased versions of the pilot.

Only it wasn't The Tube/unaired version of Serenity that I got. It was the aired version, but it's missing the scene where Mal tricks Simon about Kaylee dying (and possibly others, I didn't look too closely), and it repeats Simon's explanation about he and River about 5 minutes later, and also repeats portions of the meeting with Patience on Whitefall.

I hadn't heard of anyone having problems w/ downloads, and since I know how frustrating it is to wait days or even weeks to get an ep., I thought I'd throw it out there for everybody.

Yes, I have that file too. Part one is complete, correct? Part two is missing scenes and repeats itself 2 or three times.

I use that file for part 1 and then I found a good Part 2 elsewhere.

Same here. Got that off Kazaa - I never did manage to download a good one - a friend had to send me a copy.

Definately not the Tube one - i had that also, and while the quality was bad, and the editing was different, at least it wasn't screwed up in the same way.
