Tricia McLaughlin, a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security, confirmed Roberts' detention and said a court had issued a "final order of removal" for Roberts' deportation in May 2024.

She said Roberts abandoned his car and fled from police on Friday, and was allegedly in possession of a loaded handgun, a large amount of cash and a hunting knife, in what DHS described as a "targeted enforcement operation."

A message from Des Moines School Board Chair Jackie Norris posted Friday, Sept. 26, said Associate Superintendent Matt Smith will serve as interim superintendent until further notice.

"This action follows Dr. Ian Roberts being detained by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents this morning. We have no confirmed information as to why Dr. Roberts is being detained or the next potential steps," the release states.

Roberts, 54, has served as Des Moines Public Schools superintendent since July 2023. The Guyana native grew up in Brooklyn and was also a superintendent in Pennsylvania.

Smith previously served as interim superintendent during the 2022-23 school year.

Look at all them college educated, brainwashed white woman Karens standing lovingly behind him.

This is just one of the many, many, many, many, many reasons why the Democratic Party is dead and will never come back to life.

With all the news of things just like this coming out nearly every day, it's plain to see that the only way they expected to get away with all of this was if they were 100% sure that they would maintain control of the narrative forever.

Otherwise, all of this shit was just hubris unbridled and amounted to nothing but suicide for the party who thought they were too big to fail and decided not to police their own ranks for the last 10 years.

Don't care at all about the UFO stuff. If any of that is real and they're here and they've managed to keep that a secret for all these decades, we're already beyond fucked and I don't even want to know anything about it before I die.

I would like to know what those drones over NJ were all about though. That one just disappeared like everything else does unless it's got George Soros billions behind it, giving it a continual bump in the news cycle for as long as they decide to fund it.
