Let's put that right up there with "We represent the American people who want to do away with Obamacare" and "We will Shut Down Government to Repeal Obamacare"
Out of the 200-some odd House Reps there are some 30-40 Right Wing Tea Party reps who represent less than 10% of the country, yet they are holding the rest of the country hostage to get their way.
"If I can't win fair and square, then I'm taking the ball and going home."
The Tea Party is throwing a tantrum because they can't get enough votes to repeal Obamacare, otherwise known as the ACA, which, by the way, seems to be working wonders in Massachusetts. So why not repeal Romneycare in that state? Could it be that it's working just fine and the state hasn't sank into the ocean.

But please, let's NOT silence the Tea Party. We need every voice in this country, no matter how glaringly obtuse they sound, and no matter how absurd the reasoning. Congress, and only Congress, can effectively Shut Down the government because they control the purse strings. This Shut Down has been in the planning stages by the House Republicans for months, hell it was even certain Tea Party candidates slogan. So now, suddenly, "Oh, it was the president's fault" And there are those who believe that crap.
The Tea Party fell from the highest "Dumb" tree in the country and hit every branch on the way down, and they expect the rest of us to "see" it their way. But a funny thing happened on the way to the Shut Down, suddenly it ain't about Obamacare anymore.
Now every single thing that these geniuses shut down is suddenly being funded and re-opened "because it's the right thing to do" - and their feeling the heat from the REAL America. 5% of America approve what the House Republicans are doing. So I say, keep talking guys, you're doing fine!

Obama said, ”The Affordable Care Act is a law that passed the House. It passed the Senate; the Supreme Court ruled it constitutional. … and it is settled,” said Obama. However, Obama has violated the law 17 times – illegally. He delayed the employer mandate, the cap on out of pocket expenses, income verification, and endless numbers of deadlines specific to the law. He added almost 1500 waivers, many for his friends. SCOTUS ruled twice that the president cannot delay, amend or repeal parts of laws but he did. He ignores SCOTUS too.
