$18 Million worldwide on a $20 Million budget. It probably doesn't need $50 Million to break even being a low-budget Lionsgate film and it probably wasn't very heavily advertised, but it probably won't hit $40 Million anyhow.

even though 'The Fantastic Four' remake seems to be making a comeback on interntional numbers as these world wide sales come in...I dont see it making much more
it just seems too late and the wrong time of year to catch the 'Superman' remake

if you want to make money with one of the comicbook films that can still make money in a post-Covid Marvel/DC fatigue world then you need to be doing it during the summer

...maybe Wolf of Wall St but that had a poor open with a lot of staying power


You can see Fahrenheit 9/11 by Michael Moore's had Battles delayed openings and "Fahrenheit 9/11" faced distribution challenges amid censorship debates


back in the days of high DVD sales movies could recover an average box office with sales of the Fahrenheit 9/11 DVD for example
or comicbook movies could sell lots of T-Shirts and comicbooks and Disney Rides
that era is almost gone
