Back on topic for a bit: I don't think we can “end“ NATO, but we should get out of it.
Ever since the Soviet Union collapsed, the NATO nations have been riding our coattails.
I think Trump is doing his level best to scrape them off.
In fact, I think he's making being in NATO SO onerous to European nations that they'll be begging US to leave.

Turkey does it have a role to play does it push propaganda? Turk will play its own game and still want to keep access to Western tech, US missiles, German Navy shipbuilding, USA fighter jets, parts for the US M30 mortars, AGM-65 Maverick missiles, S-70 Black Hawks, F-16s, repair equipment for the US M60 tank or British military equipment or new German Tanks...yeah Russians can provide some stuff but its not as good, Russia cant always supply busy with its own wars and so do you think they would exchange the best of USA / Western tech for improvised things made by some Arab nation?
