We have another case of history repeating itself in Russia today. Genocidal Russian leader Josef Stalin at first used the May 9th Victory Day celebrations of the defeat of Nazi Germany to create solidarity and patriotism, but after two years he decided the celebrations had served their purpose so he cancelled them. Current Russian president Vladimir Putin seems to be taking a page from his historical mentor Stalin as he is using Victory Day to whip up nationalist fervor as he attempts to rewrite history and paint a false picture that Russia is still fighting fascism, but this time it’s Europe and the U.S. who are out to subjugate Mother Russia.

The agreement talked about in the video works against Putin. Why, because it provided the Ukrainians time to build a real army backed by the west. One Putin knows can fight back and inflict large casualties if Russia should attack now. With Biden as President more arms will flow toward Ukraine making Putins’ Ukrainian situation untenable. This is a long term problem. The Ukrainians determination to recover their land will not dissipate. Putin has the watch but the Ukrainians have the time.
Putins’ agreement with the Russian people is, while I am stealing from you, you too will see better times. I will also give you global victories that you can take pride in. That is all coming to an end. The global victories are no more and the Russian people have experienced zero gains personally. Henceforth Putins’ creating an alliance, and trying to hide under Chinas’ protection.
