I don't think any of the candidates are campaigning on a gun platform so it's not seen as a big issue.

Pretty simple really, I suspect that Paul would try to do exactly what he says he'll try to do, but since I disagree with him on a lot of subjects that's actually bad. I suspect that Obama or Clinton won't try to do everything they say they'll try to do however I agree with them on significantly more topics, from what I've heard if Obama pulls out on half his issues he'll still end up pushing more things towards the way I want them then Paul would if he kept all his promises.

For me it was Paul 16, Gravel 13, and McCain 13, Giuliani 10. The first one is a given, but the last 3 surprised me.

I got a question for you Sarge. I noticed that Paul opposes birthright citizenship, which I understand is a Constitutional right. How does that position fit with being a strict constitutionalist?

In my opinion it doesn't. I'm not pleased with RPs take on immigration and I don't think it's an accurate extrapolation of libertarian ideology. As I've said elsewhere, Ron Paul only matches me on 70-80% of the issues. But that puts him about 60-70% ahead of the mainstream goons.

No real surprises for me, since I'm for Fred Thompson all the way anyway. Guiliani came in at like 12, which wasn't a surprise, since he's republican in name only.
