Democrats have been hoping that a voter backlash against the president will be powerful enough to restore their majority in the House in next year’s midterm elections, much as it did during Trump’s first term. But the Journal poll shows that the party hasn’t yet accomplished a needed first step in that plan: persuading voters they can do a better job than Trump’s party.

On the whole, voters disapprove of the president’s handling of the economy, inflation, tariffs and foreign policy. And yet in each case, the new Journal poll found, voters nonetheless say they trust Republicans rather than Democrats to handle those same issues in Congress.

In some cases, the disparities are striking. Disapproval of Trump’s handling of inflation outweighs approval by 11 points, and yet the GOP is trusted more than Democrats to handle inflation by 10 points. By 17 points, voters disapprove rather than approve of Trump’s handling of tariffs, and yet Republicans are trusted more than Democrats on the issue by 7 points.

Voters have significant concerns about the centerpiece of Trump’s agenda—his immigration policies—opposing some of his deportation tactics by double-digit numbers. And yet they trust congressional Republicans more than Democrats on immigration by 17 points and on handling illegal immigration by 24 points.

The only issues on which voters prefer congressional Democrats to Republicans, among the 10 tested in the Journal survey, are healthcare and vaccine policy.

“The Democratic brand is so bad that they don’t have the credibility to be a critic of Trump or the Republican Party,” said John Anzalone, a Democratic pollster who worked on the Journal survey with Republican Tony Fabrizio. “Until they reconnect with real voters and working people on who they’re for and what their economic message is, they’re going to have problems.”

For the record, the generic poll Ted is referring to in this clickbait post is an alleged YouGov/The Economist poll consisting of only 1,702 alleged voters.

They offer no link to the actual poll beyond that, so you can't go in and verify any of the data or their polling methodology for yourself. (Yanno... to verify that they didn't just poll 1,702 fat pink-haired weirdo Democrat voters).

In fact, the entire article makes claims going back years, without linking to any polls that they more than likely just made up out of thin air like they did the Iowa Push Poll a few weeks before the last election claiming that Trump was going to lose the state by 13 points.

How'd that work out again for you, Ted?

Oh... and lets not forget that Democrats are on pace to lose anywhere from 20 to 50 seats in the House after the Supreme Court shuts down racial gerrymandering, forcing decades worth of Democrat cheating out of the districting maps before election day.

We're also removing all illegals from the census (tens of millions of people), meaning that blue states are all going to be losing seats that go to red states. It also means that those same states will lose billions in Federal funding every year going forward, meaning that Democrats are going to have to raise taxes on nearly everything in their states from income and sales taxes, to property taxes and everything in between just to keep up the status quo, and they'll be forced to answer for all the money they're pissing away on illegal alien invaders instead of putting that money where it belongs.

We're also forcing states to clean and maintain their voter rolls, which means nobody's dead grandparents and people who moved out of state 2 decades earlier will be magically voting Democrat anymore.

And if we can manage to force Voter ID, which is very popular among EVERY DEMOGRAPHIC, that will eliminate most of the rest of Democrat cheating in our elections.

You're about to lose everything dude. It's going to look FAR worse for you come the day after election next year.

And what's worse yet, the Democrats know that they can't even fight ANY of this because every map of every state they "Own" is so fucking warped in their favor when it comes to Gerrymandering that even Nicole Wallace and Steven Fucking Colbert are asking questions about it now that they are finally being forced to look at these numbers.


If the economy is doing great, or Trump dumps the Epstein info a month before the mid-terms, fuggedabout it.

You're already toast, but either of those two things happen on top of everything else the Democratic Party has brought down upon themselves, the Democrats are dead forever. They might already be, and they probably already are.
