Donald Trump went on a social media rant on Wednesday, July 16, shunning any MAGA supporters who believe that the administration is hiding information about Jeffrey Epstein
In the lengthy post, the president doubled down on his recent statements that the Epstein files are a "hoax" by Democrats and his political enemies
Earlier this week, Republicans in the House of Representatives voted down multiple resolutions to release more files to the public, despite a growing MAGA movement calling for transparency
President Donald Trump is doubling down on his recent claims about the Jeffrey Epstein files: that they're a "hoax" perpetrated by Democrats and his political enemies.
In a rambling post on his Truth Social page on Wednesday, July 16, the president wrote, “Scams and Hoaxes are all the Democrats are good at — It’s all they have — They are no good at governing, no good at policy, and no good at picking winning candidates.”
“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this 'bull——,' hook, line, and sinker,” Trump continued, denouncing the growing MAGA faction that has called for him to release more evidence related to Epstein's 2019 child sex-trafficking case.
“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats' work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!" he wrote.
One of those "weaklings" happens to be Trump's own daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who called for more "transparency" surrounding the Epstein files in a podcast interview released earlier this week.
“I do think that there needs to be more transparency on this, and I think that that will happen,” she said. “I believe that there will probably be more coming on this."

Sources tell Variety that the White House attempted to block the publication of a Wall St. Journal article about President Donald Trump allegedly writing a letter to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 that contains suggestive language. The White House threatened legal action against the paper if it went to print with the story, which published on the paper’s website Thursday afternoon.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the letter for Epstein’s birthday, which was part of an album from several people, “is bawdy — like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly ‘Donald’ below her waist, mimicking pubic hair. The letter concludes: ‘Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.’

I'm still under the impression that Trump is planning on releasing this right before either the mid-term or the next Presidential election anyhow. I've already said that here two-dozen times.
And if I'm right, which I quite frequently am, it could be that Trump is a little exasperated right now and hoping this would just blow over until that release date comes. There's no political gain for him or his agenda if he were to release any of that now. Just a temporary win that will mean nothing by election day.
Until you understand how all of your flag-football "wins" in your court case thread are meaningless when you take a step outside of your box and view the Big Picture, this is all stuff that you will never understand.
This is just another example of why you shouldn't have a regular daily diet of clickbait headline rage the likes which you seem to regularly indulge in.
So focused you are ONLY on TODAY and RIGHT NOW that you're incapable of thinking about tomorrow, let alone the next election cycle. And it's 90% of the frustration of trying to converse with people like you who only want to scream about what's happening this second without ever putting anything into the greater context or having the patience to see how things play out before opening your big mouth, for no other reason than to be loud.
Now where I will have a problem with this Epstein situation is if the economy isn't doing well and Republicans take a hard thumping in either the mid-terms or the next Presidential election and that information still hasn't come out.
Because that means it's all fixed on both sides and nobody is ever going to be exposed.
Because the same Democrats and Media who won't drop it today are the people who pretended this issue didn't exist or came right out and denied any of it was true for the last 5 years and called people like me Conspiracy Theorists and/or Q-Anon when we talked about it right up until a week ago. And if they come into power again and the issue is brought up again by either side, they're going to say the exact same things that Pam Bondi and Trump are saying about Epstein right now. And we know this because that is EXACTLY what they did for at least 10 years now, until just last week.
If Trump doesn't release them, nobody ever will. And that thought should terrify you.
Trump’s statements and allegations
2005 Howard Stern Interview: In an April 2005 interview on The Howard Stern Show, Trump, who owned the Miss Universe Organization (including Miss USA and Miss Teen USA), bragged about entering pageant dressing rooms, stating, “I’ll go backstage before a show and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it… You know, they’re standing there with no clothes… And so I sort of get away with things like that." He was referring to Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, where contestants are 18 or older, not Miss Teen USA.
Miss Teen USA Allegations: In 2016, BuzzFeed News reported that five women from the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, including Mariah Billado (former Miss Vermont Teen USA), alleged that Trump entered their dressing room while contestants, some as young as 15, were changing.
Billado recalled Trump saying, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before."
Three others, anonymously, described the incident as “shocking” and “creepy,” while a fifth later corroborated.
