The first one is because they don't exist.

We've got millions of homeless people here. Our country has plenty of its own problems right now that need to be dealt with.
I don't give one flying fuck about about 300,000 kids half a world away from here. They are their parents problem, and if they are starving to death, that is their parent's fault. We were the generation that stayed out of it. All the gimmies missed us, and a lot of us didn't even go to college. And those of us who did had a lot of fun and weren't out protesting everyday. I should know. Even though I didn't attend colleges, I was there partying enough where I had girls asking me what my major was and telling me they'd seen me on campus before.
You come from a very soft generation. Those Melennials that followed us were even softer.
The only reason that Democrats got as powerful as they did is because GenX has stayed out of everything so long.
