I didn't say anything that I haven't said since I signed up to the site in 2006.
My net worth is over $400k, despite the fact I've only made about $250k in my lifetime.
It's because I'm a lot smarter than you are.
A LOT.
Zero debt since 2005. House paid for free and clear with cash. Car paid for with cash. After paying off my first decent car loan in one huge lump sum during the summer of 2001 when I was working in a political job through election season and racking up to 80 hours of overtime during those weeks, I've only spent roughly $175 in interest in my entire lifetime.
And I managed that by making use of my very high credit score and getting free balance transfers and 12 months interest-free on the transfers back during the GWB days when they still did that kind of thing, and paying those down before those offers dried up. Had I managed to do that only 3 months earlier than I did, my earned money going towards interest payments since the summer of 2001 would be nil.
You keep slaving away to pay off all that debt though, rich guy.
