I'm ashamed to say, I never saw this post...

Thanks very much for the sentiments. As some of you may know, Sam passed quietly on January 28. I came home from work, after stopping at the vet to pick up his medications, and found him lying on the floor (it was around 4:30, I figure he must've died about 3-4 hours before then).

I've got his ashes on my shelf, next to a bag of catnip...
