Plus BSG did that "one year later" thing, that I hate in whatever franchise does it (cheap copout, to give us "character development" without actually developing the characters). DC Comics, Star Trek: New Frontiers, I'm looking at you two.

Both shows are excellent, but I'm going to have to go with Firefly. I think that if both shows had been on, we would have seen a lot more character development and a more in-depth story with Firefly. But, like I said, both shows are excellent.
