For anyone that follows,
sorry guys have Metal type running Eastern Jew Spain Dark Arab India Balkan rhythm popping up in feeds

but I find it interesting, flat the second then 'William Tell' or old Black and White Tv 'Lone Ranger' beat...kind of

You can always just improv and gallop and play minor with a flat 2

,

not a triplet or swung or blues, its eights or sixteen with a slight pause after every 3 which is a '4' or 8 note

Thanks for Weird Al SixString

absolute comedic master a folksy comical legend I hear he did a lot of stuff on college radio then got famous and people took the artform serious
a start at Demento but then a record company signs him?

I kinda miss some of the references but yeah I get its a James Taylor song, I should have bought his albums whenever I had the chance

maybe I missed some of the culture when outside the USA, "Weird Al" Yankovic I think most people in every part of the world know the MJ parody "Fat" or Amish Paradise? “Word Crimes” maybe "I Lost On Jeopardy" maybe his MTV Nirvana

No worries man. I'm glad I sent it. I figured everyone's heard that one too many times by this point.

When I was a kid, me and my bros and cousins were big into Weird Al, but when I got older the only ones that really stuck with me over the years were his originals like that one. That may have been some sort of James Taylor spoof, but that was one of the few hit songs he had that weren't parodies of other songs.

I thought it was funny while watching the video that the guy is playing a 6-string guitar even though it's played with a 12-string. Really blows the realism of the video.

In case you haven't heard this one, here's my other favorite Weird Al song. The cartoon came from a fan and this wasn't an official Weird Al video. Pretty sure Al must have liked it because he's only got 1.5 Million views for his audio only release on youtube and this one has over 5 million.

(WARNING: serious flashing after 3:20 for a about 5 seconds).

Jordan Rudess easily one of the best Keyboard guys, an American progressive rock metal keyboardist would you say new age mixed with Classical and old Rock?
guy is a freak on keys, guy is maybe somewhat known maybe not as big culturally like Vangelis not Jazz Funky Latin like Chick Corea but among the Rocker Heavy crowd, not as Pop as Little Richard or Billy Joel, because he's Metal he is often over-looked often unrder rated like others John Paul Jones, Tony Banks from Genesis, Prince or Freddy or Nat King Cole as players, people might know a random guy like John Carpenter before they know Jordan...he would not be true 'Classic' like Martha Argerich, Lang Lang, Yeol Eum Sun, Hélène Grimaud, Yuja Wang, Mitsuko Uchida, Yundi Li, Maria João, Claudio Arrau, Stephen Hough, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Alfred Brendel, Kate Liu, Dong-Hyek Lim, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Alicia de Larrocha, Zhu Xiao-Mei not a jazzy swung Duke Ellington score, not a work of dreamy like Claude Debussy not a music score like John Williams, he not be taught in schools like the notes of Franz Liszt or Mozart or Bach or Frédéric Chopin but a huge influence and skill,
maybe Jordan is like the guy in the background Rick Wakeman, Rick Wright, Jan Hammer, Keith Emerson, Wendy Carlos, Brian Eno, Lyle Mays, Marke Kelly, Dave Greenfield a sound everyone knows but he's not as well known, didnt go big and solo like Jean Michel Jarre but Jordan has amazing ability and playing
the guy is 'Metal' but guy is a freak, Jordan Rudess incredible piano and synth skills

gear and music makers? Ryan Burson can also make a few sounds ;)

Classical Trained a member of the progressive metal band Dream Theater and the supergroup Liquid Tension Experiment.
