People are frustrated and rightfully so. MAGA's approach is the approach of ignorant angry people. They have sided with the people who have denied their needs all these years. One problem with the democrats is that they pass a bill and then don't follow through. Like making sure it gets done. They passed the bill, got the dollar amount they wanted, and then didn't follow up. Knowing this, Biden tried to streamline the process for the chips act but not the battery charging stations. He tried to fast track some of the build back better bill but not most of it. It is like being hungry and even though you have food, it's on a shelf you can't reach.
What's not happening is called institutional renewal. It isn’t getting done, and it is crippling our economy and hurting the workers. Our priorities clearly support the vision, building a business or even a bridge. But laws that were put in place decades ago were not maintained. Not revisited and updated.
A worker's rights law takes effect. Great it works. It is 8 pages long. Two decades later it is a thousand pages long. While the concept of the law and the benefits of the law are apparent, it eventually becomes overburdensome. As time goes by, the law is never revisited to be updated and streamlined so it doesn’t stifle growth. Fixing it is smart. Destroying everything is stupid and self-defeating. Sometimes we need to move fast and break things, and when doing so, we should always know what not to break. MAGA fucked up big time. I have no use for people who want to destroy everything because they are unhappy. Fuck them, they are helping to destroy people's lives. All they do is destroy, bleat and blather.

But unlike all of Second's plagiarism which has been easy to spot, I can't seem to find that posted anywhere online.
Maybe he typed it straight off of a recent NYT Bestseller book that hasn't been transcribed yet.

I think one could argue pretty strongly that plagiarizing an article about how to become a person of character is probably missing the point of the article. Certainly using somebody else's words as your own in an effort to judge the character of other people is.
Good call, Sigs. I think so little of Ted's intelligence I didn't even think to look until you brought it up. To be fair, I mostly just skim the bullshit here these days and Second's probably gotten away with it more than a few times since I really don't care anymore.
