Some Brown Coats in the Fox.com/firefly site are trying to get together in the East Coast, either NYC or Atlantic City.

Anyone up for it? I'm going, and there does seem to be some interest. It'll probably be a take care of your own expenses, we'll meet at this restaurant at this time type deal.

It would be sometime in September.

I'm game (NYC) but we'd all have more to talk about if the episodes were available for viewing!

I've still not seen at least 4 of the already aired ones, not to mention the 3 unaired ones.

Soraya, the lady that had the Save Firefly poster on the today show has this site:

in case the horrific happens and the fox.com/firefly gets shut down. It looks like Atlantic City is the place. Feel free to post there, and if anyone else wants to help volunteer, as I did, please do. The more the merrier.

Posted at Fox forum and at Soraya's site as well. I am definitely interested in hooking up w/ some other FF fans.

Hey, I checked out that site, and found that today the contracts for the Firefly team expires. That sure doesn't sound good! Is there any hope left?

All:

I am starting the negotiating with the hotels now. So far I have about 31 people on my list, is there anyone interested that hasn't spoken up yet?

It would be in AC, on 9/26-28 in some hotel (to be decided) and I am thinking of a nice room set aside for us to have viewing parties, Jeopardy, and all sorts of shiny Firefly stuff.

Gimme a buzz at bigsister9874 at yahoo so I can get a good headcount.

PS I am posting this at the fox fansite also, so only email me once so that I can figure out exactly how big our gathering will be.
