It looks like a murder suicide. Him his wife and dog all found dead.

Cop doing the press conference said the bodies were mummified, in Arizona not that much of surprise. Would also cover the smell of decay.

Like I said. Hot and dry will mummify the human body if left a couple of weeks or so.
Even cold and dry can do that. Anthropologist have found mummified remains high up in the Andes mountains.

Since the first responders couldn't see what happened, they will definitely need autopsies done and of course toxicology. But with the mummification, I don't think there will be any blood left in the bodies. Liquids go first starting the process. So it will have to be stomach contents and maybe liver.

Very interesting.
Pacemakers have been known to fail and he would have been on heart medication, I think even with it.
His wife could be the real mystery. If the pill bottles were open and spilled the one dog could have eaten some and that killed it.
That recording for me was nasty. I really couldn't hear the reporters' questions to the officer.
