Israel answers the butchers who attacked it. What's the score so far? Well, let's see. Syria fell, why? Israel destroyed Hezbollah and Hamas. Literally, Isreal destroyed Hezbollah and Hamas.

Isreal showed Iran It can blow its missiles out of the sky. That Israeli F-35's can take out any target in Iran they want, whenever they want, almost with impunity. With Iran losing its proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas, i.e. its disruptors in the region, they've lost their bid to be the dominant force in the Middle East. That's over for them.

Who's the biggest loser? Russia Russia Russia. Putin jumped into helping Assad to gain influence in that part of the world. And, to stop a pipeline running through Syria undercutting its oil dominance of Europe. Russia's sphere of influence in the Middle East is over, puff, gone. They too are collapsing. The world is changing causing a dramatic power shift. Authoritarian regimes are dropping like flies, i.e. Türkiye and China aren't fairing much better.

Brics, Putins' small sphere of influence is now short on appeal. Those countries are going to quickly rethink their choice to align with Putins' Russia. They can see it is soon to be a failed state.

That's not to say those who control much of Syria are the good guys. The Kurds and most of the Syria people are, but not so much anyone else. We need to hope for the best, while helping to shape things when it is in our interest to do so.

Poor comrade signym. Her world is falling apart as well. All her posts were shown to be bullshit in this and other threads. Years of telling us here how Russia controls the Black Sea and is such a fighting force. For her too, that is over. The satisfaction that it brings, the vindication, makes it well worth the wait.

Too funny...

Putin Chose Ukraine Over Syria
Other Russian Clients May Conclude That They Can’t Rely on Moscow
Alexander Baunov
December 26, 2024

In 2015, when Russian President Vladimir Putin sent troops into Syria at the request of dictator Bashar al-Assad, he had several goals in mind. He wanted to help Russia escape the international isolation it endured following its annexation of Crimea in 2014. He sought to return Russia to a position of influence in the Middle East, where its presence had waned after the collapse of the Soviet Union. And he wanted to establish Russia as a global power capable of supporting its allies and halting efforts to topple friendly governments.

Word is, Syria told Putin they can remove the men and equipment remaining in Syria, if they turn over Assad.
