Australia, Canada, New Zealand had very strong Lockdowns but it looks like they also mind fragged their own people with isolation, depression, mental illness also not going outside and interacting screws with immune systems. Despite heavy Lockdown Australia still had 20,200 + Death, New Zealand 4,000 + Dead and Canada 52,000 + so Covid and the Fear of Covid continued to spread across Canada despite the government saying it was in control with heavy restriction.
Even the Chinese who normally follow the rules of the China government got pissed off and almost started to riot and wanted life to return to normal.
Restrictions does not seem to do much once thew virus is already inside the country, Ranking at 74 is Japan which used strong restrictions, ranking at 78 is Sweden which attempted herd immunity but unfortunately sacrificed many of its elderly population once Covid got inside Nursing homes.

Isolated islands and locked in city states had some of the smallest deaths Tuvalu, Saint Helena, Falkland Islands, Vatican City, Cook Islands, Africa and many Tropical Countries had Low Death as Strong UV or Strong Sunlight kills Covid and also they have worse things to worry about in some of these nations like a Militia Revolution killing the Government, AIDs, Malaria, Civil War etc

The USA had the highest number of cases, also when counting per million of Population in Corona virus 'Cases' some countries do have higher cases. South Korea, Iceland, San Marino, Faeroe Islands, Austria, Slovenia, Brunei, Andorra, Martinique, France, Gibraltar rank higher but they might have allowed a less fatal variant to burn through their populations, the worst deaths per Million of Population are Former Communist Eastern European countries or Latin American nation of Peru, the USA ranks at 15 for Deaths per Million of Population.

That's a completely asinine question.

Of course we aren't.

Especially if the next Pandemic is actually a pandemic.

The first major deadly outbreak that happens is going to wipe 80% of us out simply because there is no trust left.

I'm pretty sure that's what they're going for.

Me and my dope smoking, alcoholic uncle and I, back when I was a dope smoking alcoholic came up with the idea of how much better the world would be for everyone if there were only 500,000,000 people instead of (at that time) over 6 Billion.

In that 25 or so years, we have reached an additional 2 Billion people.

They want this. They don't even hide that they want this, and they talk about population reduction all the time at the WEF. The same 500,000,000 person ideal we came up with is the exact freakin' number they use when they talk about it too.

The worst part about it is that I don't disagree with them on this issue at all. Even though I know that the likelihood that I make the cut is very, very low... especially after my diabetes diagnosis. Nevermind that I'm white and male, and that at this age I have ageism to go up against as well. I'm a dead man walking now, and I'm completely dependent on medicine to live. I'd have no place in this new world.

Overpopulation is the single largest problem facing the Human Race, and there isn't even a close 2nd. We just never talk about it. Almost every major issue facing us will evaporate when we reduce the global population to only 1/8th of what it is today.

After me and 7.5 Billion other people are no longer taking up resources, expanding our carbon footprints exponentially with even more kids, and working McJobs that are only necessary because there are so many unnecessary people, the ones who remain are going to have one hell of a life compared to the ones we've all been living so far this century. (Yanno... Except for the ones who accidentally have one too many kids and end up having their surplus kid murdered once they figure out somebody was hiding an unauthorized baby).

I just hope it works out for them. It never does in the movies.

They'll probably wind up eradicating the human race including themselves. Maybe a couple thousand 1%'rs will be lucky enough to live in that ex-bunker hotel for the next 30 years like they did in the future on 12 Monkeys.

I just hope for them that this bunker hotel was built to last, because you're going to have one hell of a time keeping the power on and the air and water clean if none of you Wall Street geniuses remembered to keep some intelligent and highly skilled people to keep everything running and do all the things you never had to do before. Because in the future where you fuck it all up and that 500,000,000 figure accidentally gets reduced to only 50,000 people, all you 1%'rs are completely useless.

Pleasant Dreams.

You asked me a while back what SixSigma is, Sigs.

The above is the logical conclusion of SixSigma, when it's applied broadly to the human race as a whole.

That actually sounds like the makings of a great movie.

Watch what happens to a bunch of unskilled 1%'rs who have had everything handed to them their entire lives, as they live out the rest of their short lives in a high-class bunker after a planned worldwide pandemic goes horribly wrong. We can watch how they all start out so nice to each other and even pretending that it's exciting at first, and how they slowly devolve into constant bickering and fighting... eventually even murdering each other as the life support systems they don't understand slowly begin to fail one by one and the food rations dwindle faster than they'd planned for.

They don't even know if it's safe to open the door or not, and everybody who could have told them the answer to that question is already dead. They'd be killing each other over opening the hatch and seeing if they can go back outside, with half of the people believing that staying put is their only option to live, and the other half believing that opening that hatch is their salvation.

It could be a modern day take on Lord of the Flies.

I think it would be great.

But only if you stick the landing and everyone dies at the end.

No Hollywood endings here, please.
