Somehow they segwayed into talking about Pedro Pascal.
According to WDW Pro, one of their insiders told them that somebody was asked why they were giving Pedro the role of Reed Richards and they were told that he passes the "Whiteness Test".
For those not down with the lingo, the film will get all the government and social concessions that a DEI project requires, but most American people (see whites) are too stupid to realize that the guy named Pedro Pascal is Hispanic and not a white dude. Or maybe that he looks white enough that the audience can suspend their disbelief for a few hours.
Not that it will be an Oscar Nominee or anything, but we all know what the new Oscars racist demands are to even be considered for a nomination.
This racist shit needs to go.
I say no more in person interviews for jobs, period. Phone interviews only. Then the managers can cringe hard when they realize who they hired when they came in.
The Supreme Court finally ended affirmative action admissions in College. In 2025 we will remove the incentive for companies not to hire white people.
ETA: If anybody believes that I'm being hyperbolic about the hiring practices in America, here's Bloomberg bragging about the type of hiring that went on in 2021 after millions of Americans were told just the year before that their jobs were not essential.
