Israel has possibly done worse
Assad was a dictator but in the end of the day was killing foreign ISIS invaders and Syria was still Syria, still a country and intact
the Israelis now expanding invade other land like Turk
They used IED bomb explosions killing kids, bomb doctors with IED pagers, but people cheered as it was terrorists getting a taste of terrorism in photo evidence we see chemical detection and smoke plumes, consistent with white phosphorus munitions...a War Crime bomb people running for food aid in the Flour massacre, bomb a US aid worker, carried out massacres in wars, killing citizens, bombing kids saying they are human shields use of their own human shields, some times they allow their religion loons to land grab and the Army backs them up, sexual violence and rape, grab some guy or teen and torture, loot and pillage, forced transfer, breach of medical neutrality, enforced disappearance, mass destruction of civilian houses was reported as a war crime, targeting journalists, World Central Kitchen drone strikes, bombing US citizens etc etc possible crimes inside the USA, attacking their own people for becoming Atheists, Killing of surrendered people, bombing Christian sites Church of Saint Porphyrius a Greek Orthodox church in Gaza, Weinstein, spying on US citizens, Goldstone controversy, Epstein etc
but as bad as Israelis are however the Arabs behave even more stupid
Turkish Ottoman war crimes are even longer again, dating back centuries of cruel massacres and mohammedanism

It seems to me that a more legitimate accusation would be that Assad's army was targeting civilians.
At one time, I did try to estimate the number if civilians killed from the numbers available. A widely quoted figure was that 200,000 people were killed. But half of those were combatants, and half of the civilians that were killed were killed by ISIS/ al Qaeda. But that was very early on. I'm going to look into that again.

Why are you still watching videos made by idiot Peter?
The only thing he's gotten right about anything in 4 years is that EVs were doomed, and that didn't require Nostradamus levels of precognition.
Anybody who wasn't eternally high on MSNBC propaganda knew that this failure was inevitable from the start.

Russian military stuck in the high seas while fleeing Syria - Ukrainian intelligence
Part of the Russian military got stuck in the high seas on a broken cargo ship Sparta during the evacuation from Syria, Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reports.
“The cargo ship Sparta, which Russia sent to take its weapons and equipment out of Syria, broke down while underway - the fuel pipe of the main engine failed. The Russian crew is trying to fix the problem and is drifting in the high seas near Portugal,” Ukrainian intelligence writes.
It is also noted that the remnants of the Russian troops in Syria have already completed their withdrawal from remote areas and are now located at:
·Khmeimim Air Base;
·the naval base in Tartus
In particular, Russia has begun moving some of its weapons and equipment by sea from the port of Tartus to Libya.
“Also, the Russian military in Syria is actively discussing the alleged demand of the new government of the Arab republic to Moscow to completely withdraw its military contingent from Syrian territory, in particular from the bases in Khmeimim and Tartus, no later than February 20, 2025,” the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine writes, adding that this is due to the desire of the new government in Damascus to achieve the lifting of international sanctions.

Despite Europe’s displease Russia is to keep its military presence in Syria
After the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad‘s regime in Syria and the rise to power of the opposition led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, one of the issues discussed was the future of the Russian military presence in Syria. In his latest interview with the BBC, the new Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa stated that Russia and Syria have a long history of strategic partnership and noted the desire to maintain relations between two countries in the future, hinting at the possibility of Russian military staying in Syria. Russia’s two military bases in Syria are crucial for Moscow’s presence in the Mediterranean Sea and in Africa.
Various experts express their doubt about the possibility of HTS-Russian cooperation and Europe hopes that the new Syrian authorities would expel Russian military forces from the country as stated by a senior EU representative. However, there are others that believe that the future of Russian operations in Syria might be much brighter than it seems on the first glance. In recent years it became clear that Russia is well versed in reaching an agreement with radicals all over the world, an example of which is cooperation with the Taliban in Afghanistan and the Houthis in Yemen.

What I have heard is that Russia is transferring its military assets to Libya, but considering keeping the bases in Syria for humanitarian purposes. i.e. grain and other shipments to Africa.
