The Republican house passed that as a stand-alone bill early this year after it was introduced in the middle of last year.
It was "H.R.3391 - Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0".
It was sponsored by Rep Jennifer Wexton, a Democrat from VA.
It was passed in the Replibcan House in March and it was read twice by the Democrat Senate and then it died without passage.
Any intelligent reply out of you on this? Or should I just expect you to ignore this completely and post some dumbshit clickbait video or political cartoon next time you bump this stupid thread with something else stupid?

Simple, Musk killed the Bill and the money for children's cancer research was removed. It was removed from the Bill and never put back.

Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0
This bill reauthorizes through FY2028 a pediatric disease research initiative within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and requires the NIH to coordinate pediatric research activities to avoid duplicative efforts. Additionally, the Department of Health and Human Services must report to Congress about research funded through the initiative.
Check out the date. In April, in the spring, the childs cancer provision was in the Bill. The Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0 was not in this December Bill. The current Bill had the research for children's cancer stripped out.
