the last time new 'Commies' were launched to space was during the time of the USSR, the Russian Soyuz launching people from Cuba, Vietnam or East Germany.

Nothing scares me less than missiles in the hands of anybody other than Muslims.
Not only is using one against the US or a US ally a death sentence, but whoever made that choice knew they were damning millions of people to death along with it.
Putin and Kim Jong Un are Preadators. They can be reasoned with.
Muslims are Xenomorphs that will mindlessly keep attacking until they die for their queen (Allah).

Trump is fine.
He is also your current President.

Communism is one horror
but imagine the horrors of ISIS but with the best Soviet weapons that would be a holocausting genocidal nightmare
the religion thing does happen in scifi books, it does not seem logical at times, you would think as we advance superstitions are abandoned, stories of Arab Demons, Dead Djinn and holy books that can not be questioned
in general I've almost never supported war, most crazy religion I don't really tolerate and I agree with Gene Roddenbery's idea of Prime Directive with less developed culture "StarTrek General Order 1" crash your own ship rather than allow all these space tech falling into the hands of a violent 6- 7th cenutury primitive culture
the Social Communism thing usually self destructs or moves on and evolves, the extreme religion thing hangs around like bad smell or a ghost
However both the USA and Russia have supplied islamics and used them as pawns
maybe the mandess of stories like Dune, Warhammer or Kim Stanley Robinson The Mars Trilogy, forever war could become a terrible reality
