Well at the end of the day, the "melting pot" is what done it.
And they've done that in nearly every country in Europe too.
100 years from now I suspect the only cultures that will have pure blooded people of their heritage in the world will be Japan, Korea and Russia and a few others. There will be large swaths of Africa of as well, of course. But that's only because 90% of that country is 100 years behind everyone else at least, and if that country were at all habitable in a "capitalistic" view, somebody would have already done it by now.
I guess when we're all gray and boring and the same it will be better than everyone hating each other since they've all been thrust at one another and our government has been working hard my entire lifetime to make sure that everyone is invading everyone else's spaces and making sure that everyone is as big of an asshole as possible while doing it too.
Orwell saw all of that coming decades before I was born.
