I thought Thomas Massie had a degree of honesty over the years he's one of those smart MIT guys with invention and brains,

Long before Trump said Education was becoming the worst in the world Thomas was ahead of him, he already pushed a Bill that would end the United States Department of Education
he thought rather than have these endless operations overseas which are wars that Congress should reclaim its constitutional right to declare war, he seems to be a non interventionist and did vote for war much and doesn't seem to be totally against defense either but voted "present" on the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement...a vote which annoyed the warhawks.
