FEMA official blocked aid to Florida Trump homes

After the Washington Examiner pressed FEMA on whether the agency had fired the official who denied aid to Trump supporters, it replied, “We have taken measures to remove the employee from their role and are investigating the matter to prevent this from happening ever again.”

You have to ask yourself how stupid is it really when that's what they've been taught to do and how to behave.

What I would really like to see is whether there really was an active investigation going on BEFORE the SHTF.

"Well, it turned out that the editor's instinct was right, they were just looking in the wrong state -- it was in Florida. It was Highlands County, Florida, where this happened. A supervisor named Marni Washington put out this directive. The Daily Wire, it's a young reporter, Lief Le Mahieu, who nailed it down. They got the tip, and it took them a few days and they nailed it down," Cannon explained. "FEMA surprisingly admitted it and fired the woman, Marni Washington. She, in turn, gave an interview to the Washington Examiner basically saying FEMA was throwing her under the bus and she was a scapegoat. That's the word she used and she implied very strongly that these orders had come from higher up than her."
"It makes you wonder two things," Carl Cannon said. "The first is why was this clearly unlawful order even followed? And it was followed by teams of people from other branches of government that are attached to FEMA. Why didn't somebody just say no? But they did do it, and they passed over at least 20 homes in this one town."
"The second thing it brings to mind is where else did this happen? And how widespread is this?"
"People have been saying this is a right-wing MAGA conspiracy. And it turns out now we have proof that it happened, at least in this one case," Cannon said. "FEMA will say, when they finally come clean to congressional hearings, 'Oh, we were worried about our people's safety.' But it smacks of something else."
"I think we do need to get to the bottom of ‘how pervasive was this?’" Bevan added. It seems unlikely that some random supervisor would just come up with this on their own and direct their people to do this, that it didn't come from higher up."

I wouldn't be surprised if it was internal policy on the Federal level. Even if it wasn't technically their policy, their DEI/HR department could have made it a policy.
Boy, would I love to get my hands on the TPS report where it stated that it was "best practice to avoid homes with Trump signs".
I bet it was there somewhere. They've probably scrubbed their email system of any mention of it at this point, but maybe somebody saved it or printed out a copy.
I just don't see how something like this could have been done only by word of mouth.
