When the defendant has high status, the justice system screeches to a halt until someone with even more status than the defendant forces the system to move slowly and carefully forward.
For example: Five and a half years. That’s how long it took to convict a cop of murder. The justice system didn’t work faster for Trump. For 34 years this cop, Gerald Goines, has been lying to get search warrants and convictions of innocent people. Also, they finally got him for cheating on his time card.
