I don't get nothing out of a "free" $25,000 on a house purchase. They're never actually going to do that though, just like they didn't erase college debt when they knew they weren't going to be able to do that either.

Deep State has been a hideous cancer for decades now. Some of them have been emboldened more, thinking they have immunity due to being "civil service employees"
With the widespread insidious crimes, treason, etc from Brandon's admin, they have been rampant in their crimes.
If new POTUS and new congress investigatr crimes, they can leverage pleas from political appointees to turn out civil servants en masse.

I don't think Elon wants to ever be a politician or a bureaucrat himself, but if I was Vivek I wouldn't be too happy right now unless there was a real plan already laid out for this.
