I think it was mentioned towards the top of this thread.
btw...When we're posting I never think about how old someone is. They're just here. I really only notice the age thing when someone mentions television shows or music. *sigh* Kids today. *twg hopes no one remembers how young she is* They have no appreciation for the classics...they don't know who Det. Ron Harris is.
*wipes tear from eye* poor things, they missed all the good stuff.

LOL Well comparatively speaking from my POV you're not that young. But I suppose when you look at the bigger picture, your point is made.
I know I get it a lot when i talk of TV and movie classics from my generation and also fomr my favs from the previous generation or 2 that I grew up on in the days when those shows were actually rerun a lot.
Ah Barney Miller... Used to watch that right before my nightly dose of Man from UNCLE and Mission: Impossible.
Hey I read somewhere that technically I'm supposed to be a part of Generation X (tail end)which clashes with most stuff I read previously. I know I'm not Gen Y so I assumed I was like in a lost little transitional generation in-between. But I guess I'm wrong.... I have more in common with Gen X'ers than Gen Y'ers so I guess I can go with that...

*twg snickers--the laugh not the candybar*
You know, you're not suppose to call a girl out on her age...I may be your elder, but...ah no big deal.
Gen X, Gen Y, phooey I say! *twg thinks we are a bit more Xer, just a bit* anyhoo, I’m me, you're you, and we like PBS from the 70s and 80s. And we watched a lot of after-school-specials...oh and we remember the original music television with music...and um, yea, I should stop before people realize how young I am.

Elder shmulder I say. You're only my elder by like...months. Small insignificant months.
Though I totally called it before I read that by your Robotech reference.
As for Gen X- I guess technically we fall into that category. I never felt much like one though because when they made the big fuss about Generation X like 10-15 years ago I knew my brother fit the description but I felt too darned young. i was still in high school for pete's sake. But considering pop cuturally I'm mor eon the page of the classic gen X'ers now inthier 30's I guess i can't fight it.
And yeah what's wrong with liking 60s, 70s and 80s pop culture? PBS, Firefly and fantasy/Scifi?
Anyway I'd rather be thought of as young than Old. My last ex gave me so much grief about how *old I was because of the vintage eras the stuff I liked came form. Plus it was an age gap I should never have tried to tranverse but that's a drama tale for another day.... last time I try dating a Gen Y'er I'll tell ya that.

Are they up to Generation Z, yet?
And THEN what? We're out of letters!
I suppose I actually count as one of the young baby boomers. And proud of it!

You're not a loser. Just because you found out about it late? You're a winner because you know about Firefly, you can enjoy the DVD's on your time, and you will be totally able to appreciate SERENITY when it comes out.
