Maybe. But it's a much tougher pill to swallow the worse those polls get for Harris if they try it. As you can see from any of my "this day in 2016/2020 posts", Harris is already so far behind both Biden* and Clinton in every measurable aspect it's comical. And the whole "Joy" thing was played out a month ago. This was her peak, just as I said it would be. Unless they've got something crazy hidden up their sleeves, this only gets progressively worse for Harris now that she's being forced out to do interviews in the final month.

That one I don't really have an answer for until election day. A lot of Republicans suck just as much as most of the Democrats do. In my home state of Indiana I've voted Democrat for State Senate before. An Indiana Democrat is an entirely different animal than a California or Wisconsin Democrat. And then you get piece of shit Republicans like Governor Holcomb who were in lock-step with J.B. Pritzker when it came to locking everything down. If J.B. made a move, it was announced within the next week that Holcomb was doing the same thing to Indiana residents. I happily voted against him, but I really felt bad that I wasn't comfortable with voting Democrat against him. There's just too much at stake and I could never put a Democrat in charge of my state in these times. I voted Libertarian as a protest vote, knowing full well it wasn't going anywhere. Donald Rainwater did get a surprisingly high 11.5% of the vote in the 2020 Gubernatorial race though.
