Oh no! Oct 8/9 is the weekend of The Witching Hour, the 2005 Harry Potter convention. I wish there were another weekend to choose from after the premiere! Unfortunate timing, that.

(plus, having the Shindig so soon after the movie hardly gives the fans a chance to develop their latest thories, and we costumers are going to have to go to hard burn to have anything done in time!)

I'd steal the beloved plush toy of a small child to be able to go, but if it's the same weekend as The Witching Hour, I'm afraid my primary loyalties lie elsewhere. Though it will be quite sad! Who will be there to be psychic about Charades, be disturbing around livestock, and injure herself falling off fences?

MOH, are you sure that the next weekend is not an option?

October is best, merely due to the timing of the BDM. We want to have the shindig *after* we've all seen it, and can talk about it. Also, it will still be in theaters, so there is the possibility of going as a group.

Priscellie, maybe you could come for part of the event? Who else can fall of fences like you can? The 'dig just wouldn't be the same...

There may be a screening of Serenity coming to Philadelphia! It is not yet confirmed to be Serenity showing by I'd say we are at least 90% sure on this. Joss already confirmed that there WILL be Serenity showing at that exact time and date. Grab your tickets while they last!
