I was just sitting there minding my own business in math class when the teacher started explaining the problem which involved two companies... Blue company and Sun company. Duh duh duuuuh.

That's the obvious question to me.
You should go up to him whistling the Balad of Serenity and ask why he chose "Blue" and "Sun" for his example.
