As funny as that all could be, I'm not playing with that AI.

If a service is "free" than you are the product. And since AI is here to stay and only getting
"smarter" all the time, I don't feel like giving it any ideas about me with what I feed into it.
Especially considering who created it and who is governing it.

if Joker got into the machine would that be too scary, in the original Burton movie the Joker starts terrorizing Gotham by lacing almost random hygiene products with "Smylex" – a deadly chemical that causes victims to die laughing. Batman provides journalist Vikki with all of his research on Smylex, which will allow Gotham's residents to escape the toxin. Batman figures out the combo and also foils the Joker poison Ballon plan by using his Batwing to remove the balloons...despite Joker being so dark he is almost kind of funny in a weird dark humor way, maybe because you know its 'a show' the comocbook world is not real but fiction?

Comedy is hard to translate from one culture to another but can a Robot AI do stand-up? Comedy can be visual and there seems to be a linguistic element to Comedy an expectation with grammar, syntax, nouns, verbs but then something ironic and unexpected. Yet very difficult to translate a joke from one language to another. which is why it does not translate. Can AI figure out how to translate a joke from one culture one century to another, if there is a math formula for comedy maybe AI can do it also.

However at this moment we are at one of the more radical divided controversial times. A group of pranksters can feed AI nonsense then it will praise Joe Stalin or Marxists. For a while Microsoft had chatbots but then it stopped for a while as 4Chan and other trolling people messed with it, it began to even praise 'Hitler' this was caused by trolls who "attacked". It can go very wrong.

You're never going to make an A.I. that is funny to everyone.

The only way you could do that is if they figure out how to "Demolition Man" the entire population into truly homogeneous thinking. And then the A.I. could tell "Dad Jokes" all day long and have people on the ground laughing.

But even in that universe, Dennis Leary and all his people eating rat burgers in the sewers aren't going to find it funny.

You can control some of the people some of the time, but you can't control all of the people all of the time.
