Mike Johnson called me a criminal the other day, despite the fact that just like him and his boss do when tax time comes around, I follow the current law to a T and there's nothing illegal going on here.
Now... He may not like the concept of me being able to survive otherwise without working a single hour per week while getting my health insurance anymore than I like the fact that he successfully votes himself a 20% pay raise every year and nobody in his family will ever worry about health insurance in their lives on my dime, but I haven't had to go anywhere close to breaking any laws or even hiding anything to get the insurance I currently get. I fit every currently existing parameter comfortably to the point it has been a zero-stress affair for years. The only parameter I won't be fitting in 2026 if the Big Beautiful Bill were to pass as-is, would be not fulfilling the work requirements, which aren't currently law.
