I was waiting for the part where Biden punches that fat motherfucker Trump in the face, but it never happened. Maybe the Secret Service will hold Trump while Biden kicks him in the balls? Nope. What will Biden do about these Nazis? Talk to them until they become good and trustworthy citizens? Biden is old enough to know that speechifying is not forceful enough to deal with Nazis.
Is Biden the next James Buchanan (1860)? He was the old fool who, at the end of his first term as President, did not do one damn thing to stop dead (and I do mean dead) all the plotters who would become the Confederacy leadership.

Biden’s performance was such a disaster that it immediately shifted the Democratic conversation to whether Biden should be replaced atop the ticket. Biden sounded terrible, looked terrible, and debated terribly, either whiffing or missing opportunities to hammer Donald Trump, who was there to be hammered. When Biden did have strong points to make, it was frankly difficult to hear what he was saying. His resting mumble would occasionally rise for the recitation of a statistic, and then descend back into the murk.
