I saw this on the news a couple nights ago. Even the anchors couldn't resist saying how terrible the redesign is. A field reporter went out and found a 6-year-old child and showed him a picture. The kid's response? "That looks like evil Bugs Bunny!"

They already did Looney Tunes in the future... it was called duck dodgers, and it was a success. That's where we got marvin martian from. Anyhow, I see no need to change the look of bugs. Just give him a spiffy space suit.

Simon: I can't really tell, they don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

I'm sure Warner Brothers was looking to bring itself up to date to compete with some of the newer cartoons.
I think that recycling Bugs and his cohorts is pretty bad, really they should just introduce a new group of characters. Also the name Buzz Bunny is a bad idea. There's already Buzz Lightyear, hullo!?
Laser beam eyes, thats for bad guys.
How could anybunny be so evil?

I can't even begin to describe how hideous those things are. I'm scared of them, and I'm not a kid. All I can say is "What the HELL were they thinking?!"

* A spot of light appears in this thread. It expands to become a dark void surrounded by a ring of fire. From this hole in reality appears The Real Me dragging a pool table. *
Ebo! I'm here!
* The Real Me drags the pool table into this thread, then dives under it himself. He shivers with fear. *
Downright CREEPIFYING!

*sigh*
Sad.
Why do big companies think that for something to succeed, it must be 'hip' and 'cool' and 'new'? It pains me to see classic characters broken down and rehashed into something like this.
Got room for me under that table, ebo?
(Honestly... BUZZ BUNNY!?!?! WTF?)

As, in all honesty, is Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 Century. Why can't they just shoehorn Bugs and the others into that?
Let me be the one to say that I have little love for Looney Tunes (due in large part to Teletoon's devoting over 72 hours a week to them
), but this. . . This is just derivative, insulting, and stupid, and. . . just wrong.-----
