I was going to add a caveat to the above post that forcing government X into accountability, let alone replacing it with government Z, is almost always a waste of money, prestige and perhaps lives. I decided to leave it alone, to see what people would read into it without qualification.
You took the bait.
If someone's my neighbour I don't want them screwing with me. I could care less if they're "clear-headed" ("accountable", in this analogy); I may in some abstract way prefer them not to be unstable for their own well-being, but what matters is that they leave me alone. Clear headed people are usually less apt to give each other trouble. Does this mean it's okay to rough said unclear-heads up without provocation? Guess.
I like Firefly because it's good.
