Alias is a genre show. It's a spy show. There have been many spy shows throughout TV history, including The Man From U.N.C.L.E. among others. One in your field should probably know that kind of stuff.

I read what you wrote. The Star Wars comparison was cute. You in no way said anything of value that could convince me to watch the show. I also read your "Firefly's gone, lets go with MIRACLES," thread. It's good to know you've given up on the show. I haven't and don't plan to.

I didn't watch Firefly looking for hope for the future of television. I watched it because Joss Whedon was attached to it. I fell in love with it because it was a spectacular show. I didn't start watching it just to say "Well, I've been watching it since the first episode..."

I don't know what you mean by "our new hope." This is a Firefly board so, unless Miracles is actually Firefly in disguise, there's no hope coming from your posts here.

And good luck with that career of yours, but maybe you should try seeking the advice of people in the business and not just us web-head TV fans.

Feel free to respond to this, but I don't plan start a flame war or anything, so if that's your intent, don't bother.

I'd have to agree that Alias is a genre show, mainly because it is pure fantasy.

Don't get me wrong, I watch the show regularly and enjoy it thoroughly. But c'mon, an entire building of people who think they are CIA when they are really working for the enemy, Alliance...? (until last night's episode that is) Not very good at surveillance are they?

Alias is loads of fun, but must be taken as fantasy. This makes it genre in my mind.
